This is an administrative registry managed by the Catalan Housing Agency. <strong>Individuals and legal entities<\/strong> considered major property holders \u2014 those owning 5 or more properties in high-demand areas or 10 or more in others \u2014 are required to register.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The purpose of this regulation is to identify properties that could potentially be made available for public use.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Until the registry becomes fully operational \u2014as a dedicated section of the Housing Agency&#8217;s website has not yet been activated\u2014 major property holders must submit a <strong>sworn declaration<\/strong>, confirming their status along with a list of the properties they own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This temporary declaration must be submitted via a \u201cGeneric Request\u201d form to the Housing Agency of Catalonia. Each submission should include the owner\u2019s tax ID (CIF), confirmation of their status as a major property holder, and the cadastral references for each of the properties listed.
