With this approach, the law reshapes how companies manage mobility in the workplace and introduces <strong>new obligations<\/strong> for businesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sustainable mobility plans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Companies with <strong>more than 200 employees (or 100 per shift)<\/strong> must implement <strong>sustainable mobility plans <\/strong>by December 2027. These plans should encourage:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Public transport and active commuting (walking, cycling, scooters).<\/li>\n<li>Low- or zero-emission travel options.<\/li>\n<li>Remote work, where possible.<\/li>\n<li>Workplace road safety for everyone accessing the site: staff, visitors, and suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plans must be negotiated with the <strong>employees\u2019 legal representatives<\/strong>, or, if none exist, with a <strong>union committee<\/strong>. In cooperatives, approval falls to the <strong>Board of Directors<\/strong>. The law also integrates sustainable mobility into <strong>collective agreements<\/strong>, affecting schedules, incentives, access planning, and coordination with local mobility plans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Impact on workplace organization<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The law encourages <strong>flexible working hours<\/strong> and <strong>shift reorganization<\/strong> to avoid peak times. Companies must also review internal commuting policies and the use of personal vehicles, especially in large urban centers, where additional measures should be implemented to reduce congestion and promote low-emission alternatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Registration and monitoring<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The law establishes the <strong>Integrated Mobility Data Space (EDIM)<\/strong>, where companies must record their plans, updates, and follow-up reports every two years. Part of this data will be published in aggregated format, ensuring transparency and tracking of progress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Additional measures and penalties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other requirements include:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Equality, inclusion, and accessibility<\/li>\n<li>Training in sustainable mobility<\/li>\n<li>Goods logistics<\/li>\n<li>Fines of up to \u20ac600,000 for non-compliance<\/li>\n<li>Specific funding and subsidies linked to meeting obligations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Law 9\/2025<\/strong> encourages companies to embed mobility into their business strategy with a more human, safe, and sustainable approach.
