Requirements for Working in Andorra During the Winter Season

 

The Ministry of Justice and Interior, through the Immigration Service, has prepared a complete document outlining all the requirements that temporary workers must meet to access employment opportunities during the winter season.

The primary objective is to ensure that workers have a clear and detailed understanding of the criteria they must meet, with the hope of preventing situations like those experienced in the previous year when a wave of seasonal workers found themselves without employment or accommodation while seeking work.

Applicants must have a valid employment contract or be able to demonstrate that they have guaranteed accommodation. These are two of the crucial requirements that individuals who wish to work in Andorra during the winter season must meet to obtain temporary work and residence authorization.

For those making their first foray into Andorra for employment purposes, they must also be able to prove their relevant training or have a two-year work history related to the job they are applying for. Other documents that must be submitted include a certificate of no criminal record.

The Argentine Association in Andorra has already disseminated this document, which is available on the Immigration website. This has been well-received, as it helps clarify any uncertainties that may arise among seasonal workers.
