Addwill has advised on the process of setting up the CLUSTER TIC TURISMO DE CATALUNYA, a platform for cooperation and cohesion between companies and entities with hybrid business models between technology and tourism, with the aim of making Catalunya a benchmark in tourism technology. This project has been promoted thanks to the collaboration between the public sector, led by the Department of Business and Labor, ACCIÓ and the General Directorate of Tourism; and the private sector.
The new cluster is born with 24 companies, agents of the sector, universities and research centers such as PRESTIGE SOFTWARE, VUELING, AMADEUS, CATALONIA HOTELS, the INSTITUTO QUÍMICO DE SARRIÀ and the GREMIO de HOTELES de BARCELONA, among others; and employ more than 1,700 workers directly linked to the application of technology in the tourism sector.
The partners Joan Jové and Guillem Hors and the lawyer Elisabet Albert have participated in the act of constitution of the cluster that took place last Monday, March 28 in the building of La Pedrera, which had the participation, among others, of the Catalan Minister of Business and Labor, Roger Torrent; the director of the ACCIÓ Strategic Business Unit, Joan Martí; the President of the Cluster, Félix Navarro; and the Secretary of Business and Competitiveness of the Generalitat, Albert Castellanos.
For addwill it is a pleasure and pride to be able to accompany our client on this journey, giving all our support and collaboration for their growth.
