The Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF) held its XXXV National Congress on October 26, 27, and 28, 2023, which took place at the majestic Kursaal Conference Center in San Sebastian, a unique, stately, and astonishing city. This special edition attracted more than 350 professionals and experts in the field of taxation and featured the participation of Stella Raventós Calvo, President of AEDAF and partner in the tax department of addwill, who, as President of AEDAF, had the honor of inaugurating the congress.
Albert Folguera Ventura, a partner in the tax department of addwill and coordinator of the Group of Experts in Indirect Taxes of AEDAF, assumed the role of moderator in the session titled “The Implications of the Implementation of Electronic Invoicing.”
Throughout the fourteen program sessions dedicated to delving into tax-related topics, relevant issues such as corporate tax, the new reference value, the use of artificial intelligence by the Administration, and the implementation of electronic invoicing were addressed.
One of the highlights of the Congress was the recognition of the profession of tax advisors as “fundamental” in maintaining a strong relationship between taxpayers and tax authorities. In addition, the high quality of the presentations and speakers who were part of the Congress program was praised. Over 60 experts in various fields gathered at the XXXV National Congress of AEDAF to share their knowledge.
The congress concluded with the closing ceremony, also presided over by Stella Raventós Calvo, President of AEDAF, and featured the participation of other distinguished personalities.
