addwill has provided comprehensive legal counsel for the establishment of the new Catalonia Data & Information Management Cluster, commissioned by the Department of Culture of the Government of Catalunya.
The project involved lawyers Joan Jové and Guillem Hors, who led the preparation of all the legal documentation required to ensure a robust and efficient governance model tailored to the needs of the new organization, while also establishing a clear legal framework for its operations.
The new cluster was created to foster innovation, digital transformation and collaboration among companies and institutions connected to the information management sector in Catalunya, helping to strengthen a leading strategic ecosystem in this field.
The official launch of the Catalonia Data & Information Management Cluster took place on 12 May at La Pedrera Auditorium, bringing together more than 50 companies and institutions from across the sector. The event was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Government of Catalonia, the Hon. Sònia Hernández.
The cluster’s founding members include organizations representing the entire sector value chain, such as T-Systems, Stelo.ai, iLovePDF, the Computer Vision Center, the Autonomous University of Barcelona Foundation, Doctodata, Nubilium, Vidimus, DesideDatum, AGTIC Consulting, Astrea and La Foneria, among others.
Through this project, addwill further strengthens its position as a legal advisor for strategic initiatives and high-impact collaborative projects linked to innovation, technology and digital transformation.
The firm has established itself as a recognized leader in legal advisory services for non-profit organizations — including associations, clusters, foundations and business representative bodies — with a particular focus on supporting Catalonia’s business cluster policy through public-private collaboration.
