Addwill is pleased to announce that Albert Folguera, Managing Partner of the Tax Department of Family Business at addwill and Coordinator of the Expert Group on Indirect Taxes of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF), will provide an informative session on the latest updates in Electronic Invoicing and the “VeriFactu Regulation”, within the framework of the XVII Tax Updates Conference 2024 of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF).

The event will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 12:00 to 13:15, at the UPF-BSM Auditorium (C/ Balmes, 132-134, Barcelona), as part of the Tax Study Conference organized by the Catalan Delegation of AEDAF.

During the presentation, the updates outlined in Royal Decree 1007/2023 will be discussed, which establishes the “VeriFactu Regulation” for billing systems. This regulation aims to ensure the integrity of billing records through a specific format, incorporating security elements such as hashes and electronic signatures.

According to this regulation, entrepreneurs will be required to automatically generate pre-invoice records before each invoice, including traces or hashes. Alternatively, they may submit records to the Tax Agency. The purpose is to prevent the use of dual-use programs and, in the long term, enable taxpayers to download data to facilitate the preparation of record books and tax models.

To participate in the Conference, registration is required through the following link https://www.aedaf.cat/activitat/jornada-novetats-fiscals-2024.
