Stella Raventós, partner of the addwill tax department, attended the Regional Conference of the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors as President, a position she has held since 2020, which took place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on February 17 and 18.

These annual conferences were attended by more than 200 advisors from all over the archipelago, where the necessary updating of the Economic and Fiscal Regime (REF) of the Canary Islands was analyzed, as well as various tax developments.

Within the framework of these conferences, in her interview conducted by the digital newspaper El Día – La Opinion de Tenerife, Stella Raventós highlighted the urgency of lowering taxes on hydrocarbons in the face of the rise in oil prices, as well as the desire to collect by the Tax Agency that exceeds the legality in many cases, according to his own words.

Stella Raventós is part of prestigious institutions such as the Barcelona Bar Association, the Spanish Association of Financial Law, the International Tax Association and the European Tax Confederation, in which, since January 2017, she is the Chair of its Tax Committee.

Last year 2020, she was added a new distinction as vice president of the CFE, the European Tax Confederation that represents 33 associations of tax advisors in 24 European countries, encompassing more than 700,000 tax specialists at a European level.
